In Staketo every step is a short minigame and every garden a level that you build as fast and as cleanly as you can. Eleven real steps This is how a chestnut paling fence is really built: • Hammer In – drive in the sleeves with a sledgehammer • Loosen – pre-drill clay and stony ground • Ram – sink pointed posts with the post rammer • Anchor – fix sleeves to paving • Screw – drive screws in flush • Saw – cut braces to length at the post • Lift – bring the fence to height at the first post • Unroll – roll the paling out to the next post • Tension – tension the wire and screw it down, both at once • Connect – twist two rolls together • Align – hang the gate, bring it plumb and let the latch drop Stay on the beat and you build faster. Miss, and you'll see it on the clock – and on the fence. 28 gardens on four streets Gartenstraße, Wiesenweg, Lindenweg and Rosenstraße: every street brings something new – first the basics, then corners and braces, gates and terraces, height and tight spots. Gold in a street's six gardens unlocks its Showpiece. Get gold there too and the Street Trophy is yours. Medals and best times Bronze for a finished fence, silver and gold for fast times – and a hidden master time for anyone who wants to know exactly.
