Snughold: Last Hideout

The things can't climb cliffs well. So here, on a rocky ledge, is where we make our home. And now, the lights come on. Snughold is a cozy 2D shelter game about building a tiny home that hangs from a cliff, one room at a time. Ivy lights the first lamp alone. Then, one by one, people follow the light: Wren, Rowan, Granny May and Barney. - LIGHTS ON Your home enters a fourth era, Lights On. Put a generator in the generator room and one can of fuel a day powers heated beds, running water, an electric pump, a stove with a fridge and a gramophone. Run out of fuel and nothing breaks: fixtures just go back to working the way they did before. But a night with the generator humming draws more of the things to your yard. - THE WINTER GOES ON The first snow is no longer the end. Choose to keep living and a twelve-day winter chapter begins: a snowed-in home, three days of cold snap, and one last long winter night. Make it through and a chapter ending card records your home's story. Warm rooms and full pantries are your best defense, and without a fridge, food slowly spoils. - NEW RESEARCH, NEW FIXTURES Heating, plumbing, refrigeration and machinery join the study. The elevator now runs, carrying people between floors in half the time. The storeroom, garden and infirmary grow to a fourth stage. Up to seven people can live together, and the new substation outing is the place to find fuel and parts. - A HOME THAT GROWS Add bedrooms, a kitchen, a study, a living room, a workshop and more: a dozen kinds of rooms. Fix a tent into a plank shack, then into a proper room, then a home with the lights on. - PEOPLE DRAWN BY THE LIGHT New people arrive at dawn, each with something they could not leave behind. They look after themselves: hungry ones head to the kitchen, tired ones to bed. Each has a favorite thing, a small wish, and a trait that changes your home. - OUTINGS BY DAY, DEFENSE BY NIGHT Send someone out to the forest, an abandoned car, a shop, a school
