Rune Observatory

Restore the alignment of a brass celestial instrument. Rune Observatory is an offline puzzle game with three linked 3D rings, twelve stations per ring and a crystal on each orbit. Select a ring and turn it one station left or right. Its neighboring ring moves with it. Different archives use coupling ratios of one, two or three stations. The inner ring links back to the outer ring, so each decision changes two positions. Bring all three crystals to station zero along the mint target ray. Explore 36 puzzles arranged in six archives. Each puzzle has a verified shortest-path par. Finish within par without hints for three stars, within three moves of par for two, or solve at your own pace for one. Using a hint limits the rating to two stars. Undo moves freely, restart a puzzle or request the next move of a shortest solution from your current position. There is no time limit. All archives are available immediately, and unfinished puzzles retain their move history. Features include real-time shaded 3D brass rings and crystals, 36 linked-ring puzzles, 108 available stars, original illustrated instrument details, and local progress saving.
