You run a speedway club. You don't watch the season from the stands—you assemble the lineup for each match, decide on the track, negotiate contracts, and explain yourself to the board when something goes wrong. THE WHOLE SEASON, DAY BY DAY The calendar takes you from the December transfer window, through training camp and friendlies, to the final phase. Every day is a decision: training, discussions, media, sponsors, injuries. A FULL-RUN MATCH Fifteen heats, 3-2-1-0 points, nominated heats XIV and XV. A regular reserve, a tactical reserve when six points down, and a replacement for an injured leader. Before each heat, you choose the instructions and your riding path—under the berm or at the curb. THE TRACK IS YOUR WEAPON AT HOME After the fourth, seventh, tenth, and thirteenth heats, a meeting with the team takes place and the track master makes a decision: water, leveling, and compaction. Away from home, you're left with hints on which route to take – the home team has their own track. THE TEAM IS PEOPLE, NOT NUMBERS Point-based contracts: stakes per point, bonus, bonuses, and penalties. Star players demand a guaranteed place in the squad and remember if they don't get it. You can terminate a contract with a release clause or honestly warn the player that there will be no extension – and the player will start looking for a club. The community recognizes this: a club that keeps its word negotiates more easily. THREE LEAGUES, 24 CLUBS Promotion, relegation, play-offs, play-downs, and play-offs. Bonus point per two-legged match. Youth players, a U24 reserve team, and your own academy from which you nurture successors. INDIVIDUAL COMPETITIONS Your riders receive call-ups to youth and open tournaments, national championships, and world championship events. If they ask for help, you guide them race by race.
