La arepera: Sabor de la casa

Put on your apron and build your very own Venezuelan arepa shop! You start with a patch of land, some corn plants and a griddle. Walk with the joystick, harvest corn, grind it in the mortar, grill the dough on the griddle and sell the arepas at the counter. Spend your earnings on stations, fillings, tables and upgrades, and hire your crew. One finger is all you need. WHAT YOU DO • Harvest, grind, grill and sell: the whole arepa process, step by step. • Plain arepa from the start, plus 5 more types you unlock as you progress: yellow cheese, perico, pabellón, pelúa and reina pepiada. • A farm and cold storage: cows, chicken coops, a black bean plot, an avocado tree, a dairy fridge, an egg fridge and a meat cooler. • Tables get dirty: clean up the trash or the arepa goes to-go. CUSTOMERS WITH PERSONALITY • Serve quickly and with variety to earn more and attract more people. Slow or repetitive service means lower pay and bored customers. YOUR CREW • A Human Resources office with 10 characters, each with their own trait. Hire up to 5, level them up and pay payroll every fortnight. Watch out: idle workers earn double! Sometimes they sneak a nap. • The Arepero's Locker: speed, capacity, quick hands and flavor, for all shops. • The Chalkboard: faster cooking, patience and tips, for each shop. TWO SHOPS • La Arepera de la Esquina and La Arepera de la Playa, 15 levels each. The Beach shop opens once you complete the first and pays triple. Finish it and you are the king of the arepa!
