Joo Play is a match-three fortune board wrapped in red lacquer and brushed gold. A crowned koi rules the shrine, and every charm you burst feeds the fortune stack behind him. Swipe a charm into the neighbour beside it. Line up three or more of the same face and they burst, dropping the rows above into the gap. Chain those drops together and the multiplier climbs with every step, so a single well-chosen swipe can clear half a board. THE KOI CURRENT From the Jade Terrace on, the shrine water changes direction. On a turned board the charms no longer fall downward: they pack against the eastern, western or upper edge, and fresh ones sweep in from the opposite side. The same swap sets up a completely different cascade, so you learn to plan the gap you open rather than only the match you make. Every other board stays on ordinary gravity, so a turned current always reads as a change. THE SHRINE GATE Three blessings are laid out before every board and you keep one: four extra moves, two lanterns already lit, a quarter more score, two jade seals pre-cracked, a richer coin payout, or Still Water, which settles a turned current for that board. Lose and the next attempt draws a fresh three, so no two runs at the same board play alike. SIXTY HAND-TUNED BOARDS Five shrine tiers, twelve boards each. Lantern Court starts gentle with a single charm quota and no seals. By Crown Shrine you are juggling three quotas, triple-cracked jade seals, a turning current and a tight move budget on a full eight by eight board. JADE SEALS AND CROWNS Cracked jade seals sit beneath the charms and need one burst on top per layer to shatter. Clear every seal and fill every quota before the moves run out. Finish early and each spare move converts to bonus points, which decides whether you walk away with one, two or three crowns.
