DISON Expres is a short game about a country bus driver. Take the wheel on route 340 and drive a morning shift of three trips between the villages of Kostelec and Lhotka in the Czech countryside. How to play • Throttle: hold a finger anywhere on the screen. Brake: let go. • Steer by tilting your phone. • Pull up at each stop and let passengers off and on. Running late doesn't pay. On the road • hay tractors, combine harvesters, cyclists and Sunday drivers who love a sudden brake – all of them need overtaking, • oncoming cars and trucks, • a police speed trap behind a 50 sign, • a family of ducks, some chickens and a deer that have no business being on the road. Driver's bonus Your bonus grows with every passenger, every overtake, every on-time arrival and every stop right at the bus stop sign. And the earlier you arrive, the more you get. The dispatcher would frown, but here it pays. Delays, missed stops, fender benders and startled animals cost you. After each trip you get a trip sheet with the breakdown and stars, and at the end a sheet for the whole shift. Three trips, three moods 1. At Dawn: morning mist and slow tractors. 2. Harvest: golden stubble, combines and the first speed trap. 3. School Run: a stop by the school full of kids, and heavy traffic. Drivers' leaderboard Drivers who use the EDISONKA app can launch the game from it, play for their company and compete on a TOP 50 leaderboard with drivers from other bus operators. Without EDISONKA you play anonymously and nothing is sent. One trip takes about a minute and a half. The game is in English and Czech, needs no account and has no ads or purchases. EDISON Expres is made by M-line software, the company behind the EDISON transport system and the EDISONKA app for bus drivers.
