Confectory

Every dessert begins with a ticket on the counter. Confectory is a dessert-making puzzle where you build the machine that makes the treat. Read the order, take a basket to the market and choose exactly what the recipe needs, because the basket holds only so much and every space counts. Back in the kitchen, set out your crates, place the mixer, the oven, the cooking pot and the whisk, and lay belts between them so that nothing crosses. Press start and the factory comes alive. Eggs and flour roll into the mixer, batter slides into the oven, berries bubble into jam, cream turns fluffy, and the assembler stacks it all into a cake in the order each part arrives. Get the order of the belts right and the slice comes out perfect, layer upon layer, with a cherry on top. Route them badly and the jam ends up at the bottom, and the customer notices. Every street of the candy town brings new machines, new ingredients and new kinds of treats, from cupcakes and rolls to macarons, donuts and filled chocolates. Some recipes are written in your book from the start. Others you discover by trying things out. Master a filling and it waits for you in the pantry as a ready jar, saving space on harder orders. Everything you bake goes on display in your showcase, and the free kitchen is always open for the desserts only you could dream up.
