Roll up, roll up. Balloons in red, blue and yellow bob over every stall, and you hold darts in the same three colors. The trick is in the matching: a red dart pops a red balloon but sails straight through a blue one. Balloon Fair is a fairground arcade game about quick hands and quicker color choices. How to play 1. Walk your barker left and right with the arrow pads, or drag. 2. Each dart button throws its own color straight up, and you can have two darts in the air at once. 3. A popped balloon splits into two smaller ones of the same color; the tiniest just go bang. 4. A dart of the wrong color passes through and costs a prize ticket. 5. Three bumps from a balloon and you are out, so clear them all before time runs out. The fair has three grounds with ten stalls each: the Village Fair with gentle balloons on the green, the Seaside Pier where a sea breeze blows them sideways, and the Night Carnival with helium-high balloons under the lights. Every ground finishes with a giant-balloon stall, and winning seven stalls opens the next ground. After dark, the Midnight Stall keeps going, with new balloons drifting in faster and bigger every few rounds and milestones at rounds 5, 10, 15 and 20. Every pop wins tickets, and a hot streak wins more. At the prize booth they bought six barkers, from Barney to Pip the Jester, and four sets of dart flights. There are twelve rosettes to pin up, such as Steady Hand for a round cleared without a bump and Ticket Roll for 40 tickets in one go. A left-handed layout moves the dart buttons across. Balloon Fair works offline, needs no login, shows no adverts and has nothing to buy. Step right up and take aim.
