Contractor licence verification by trade

Which licence a trade needs depends entirely on the state. California issues one classification per trade, Florida splits every trade by scope and reach, Texas licenses electricians but not general contractors at all, and Oregon classifies by residential versus commercial and not by trade. Each page below says which codes that state's board actually issues for the trade, and how many records its current extract holds.

Where a trade is missing

A trade with no page for a state is a trade that state does not license, or one it licenses through a board that publishes nothing to verify against. Texas general contracting and Texas plumbing both have pages saying exactly that, because the answer people need on those searches is that the licence they are asking for does not exist. Coverage state by state is on the state pages.

The API is on RapidAPI with a free tier: Contractor License Verification. It is also on the Apify Store: Contractor License Lookup & Verification. Full schema at /docs.
