Privacy policy

This policy covers swanum.com's home and company pages and the US import duty calculator under /tariff. Comps (under /comps) has accounts and an API, and its own, more detailed privacy policy. Questions: contact@swanum.com.

What we collect

• Server logs. Like any web server, ours records each request: time, page, IP address, browser string and referring page. We use them to keep the site running and to block abuse, and they are deleted after at most 90 days.
• What you send us. The duty calculator has optional forms (a landed-cost breakdown, bulk classification). If you use one, we keep what you type — email address, product, country of origin, the page you sent it from — to answer you, and to learn which products people need that the tool does not cover yet.
• Email. If you write to us, we keep the conversation.

What we do not do

These pages set no cookies of their own and load no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from swanum.com itself. We do not sell or share personal data.

Who processes it

Hetzner (hosting, Germany), Cloudflare (network and security, which may set a strictly necessary security cookie) and our email provider.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, object to its use, and complain to your data-protection authority. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.
