CR360 — Petition for expungement under 610.140 RSMo (Missouri)

Missouri publishes one petition for the 610.140 route.

What a court checks before this one is granted

Three years since the sentence was completed for a felony, one year for a misdemeanour, ordinance violation or infraction.
Lifetime caps under 610.140.13 as it reads from 1 January 2025: not more than two felony offences, and not more than three misdemeanours or ordinance violations carrying a term of imprisonment.
The petition is a civil action and the order reaches only the agencies named as defendants — court, sheriff, municipal police, prosecutor, state repository. Missouri hands out the blank and no list.
Filing before the wait is up gets the petition dismissed and bars refiling for a year, which costs more than not filing.
