AOC-496.3 — Application to vacate and expunge a Class D felony conviction (Kentucky)

What a court checks before this one is granted

• The conviction is one of the Class D felonies KRS 431.073 permits, and five years have passed since the sentence was served or probation ended.
• The court vacates the judgment first and expunges second; this form asks for both, which is why it is a separate application from the misdemeanour one.
• The AOC certification is filed with it and expires 30 days after it reaches you.

These are the conditions the statute and the state's own guidance set for this form. Whether your record meets them is a legal judgement, and not one I make.

What I do with it

• Felony expungement fee $250 if granted, payable in instalments.
